Candy Paula is one of the alumni featured in the CSUDH Magazine Spring 2021 (For Alumni and Friends of California State University Dominguez Hills)  "Class Notes" . It mentions her Debut CD "Love Is Real" as a folk guitarist, singer and songwriter. It then attributes her background as an English Literature Major with her lyrical writings of "inspirational and heartfelt songs that connect with her audience".
